At NEXCO EAST Akita Management Office (Akita City, Akita Prefecture), E7 Nighttime road closures will be implemented on both the northbound and southbound Nihonkai-Tohoku Expressway (hereinafter referred to as "Nitto Expressway") between Kawabe Junction (hereinafter referred to as "JCT") and Iwaki Interchange (hereinafter referred to as "IC") for pavement repair work and other purposes.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation in allowing extra time when you go out.

1. Closed section and date and time

   Nitto Expressway, both directions, Kawabe JCT to Iwaki IC



• The signs such as E7 attached to each route indicate the route number (numbering) of Expressway, etc.

   June 15th (Monday) to June 17th (Wednesday), 2020

   Every day from 20:00 to 6:00 the next morning

   Preparation day:

   Thursday, June 18, 2020 - Friday, June 19, 2020

   Every day from 20:00 to 6:00 the next morning

2. Detour

The detour will increase your travel time, so please allow extra time for your journey.

3. Construction overview

At the Nitto Expressway Upper and Lower Line Kawabe JCT ~ Iwaki IC, pavement repair work will be carried out because damage to the road surface has occurred. In order to avoid causing as much inconvenience as possible to customers, we will close the road on weekday nights when there is little traffic, and carry out the construction intensively and efficiently. This is a necessary construction work for you to use the Expressway safely and comfortably, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.
