　NEXCO東日本、NEXCO中日本、NEXCO西日本は、重大事故につながりやすい暫定2車線区間での高速道路の正面衝突事故防止対策として、ラバーポールに代えて区画柵の設置、検証を行っております。
　また、2018年6月15日に国土交通省が公表した「暫定二車線の高速道路のワイヤロープ設置方針について」及び2020年3月31日に公表した「暫定2車線の高速道路における新たなワイヤロープ設置方針について」を通じ、土工部、中小橋梁^※1については、ワイヤロープを本格設置しており、2022年度内の概成を目指しております。
　長大橋梁^※2及びトンネルについては、2021年6月8日の「高速道路の正面衝突事故防止対策に関する技術検討委員会（第5回）」を踏まえ、センターパイプ、センターブロックを試行的に設置することを決定しましたので、今般、以下の6カ所において、試行設置を開始することをお知らせします。
　今後、正面衝突事故防止対策としての有効性、適用性の検証を行い、引き続き交通安全対策に取り組んでまいります。

What is a compartment fence? ^{* 3}

The following technical performance has been confirmed, and it can be installed within the construction limit as one of the "fences or piece stops on the road".

Expressway, safety according to the "guard rail" is ensured.
It contributes to ensuring the safe and smooth passage of vehicles and does not hinder the passage.
