NEXCO EAST (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) is pleased to announce that it will be selling a new toll discount product exclusively for ETC vehicles, the "Shift Winter Discount! Kan'etsu Relaxed Pass," with the aim of allowing drivers to relax and enjoy winter sports, hot springs, and other activities while avoiding Expressway and using expressways in comfort.
The E17 Kan-Etsu Expressway In-bound (Nagaoka JCT to Takasaki JCT) is congested on weekends and public holidays (hereinafter referred to as "holidays") during the winter when demand for winter sports is high. However, this congestion tends to ease after 8:00 p.m., so by delaying your departure time for your return to the Tokyo metropolitan area, you can avoid the congestion, get home smoothly, and enjoy a longer, more relaxing stay in the area.
This new product has been launched with these factors in mind, offering discounts on Expressway tolls to your destination, making it ideal for trips along the E17 Kan-Etsu Expressway for purposes such as winter sports. What's more, if you avoid congestion and travel on the return journey during specific hours on holidays or on weekdays, you will receive up to 20% of the sales price in mileage points in addition to the ETC mileage service points (hereinafter referred to as "mileage points") that are normally awarded. Of the discount products that can be applied for in advance, this is the first attempt by Expressway company to offer a product that allows you to use Expressway at a discount depending on the return journey time.
We offer a "Round Trip Plan" that offers great value for round trips from the Tokyo metropolitan area to Niigata or Gunma, and a "Set Plan" that offers even greater value by combining a "lodging or lift ticket" with a round trip, allowing you to get on and off anywhere within your destination area (Set Plans require a separate accommodation or lift ticket fee in addition to the retail price).
This product will go on sale from 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.

Additional mileage points awarded
If you have registered for the ETC mileage service in advance, apply for this product using your registered ETC card, and use the return journey during specific hours on a holiday or on a weekday, you will receive an additional mileage point equivalent to up to 20% of the sales price in addition to the mileage points you would normally receive.
For both round-trip and set plans, the additional mileage points will be awarded based on the time it takes to pass through the return entrance IC. If the requirements are met, additional mileage points will be awarded on the 20th of the month following the month of use, in addition to the regular mileage points.

An additional 20% of the sales price will be awarded as mileage points at all times.

The rate at which additional mileage points are awarded will vary depending on the time you pass through the return entrance IC, as follows:

① Outbound: Take from the IC in the departure / arrival area and get off at the IC in the destination area

Set plan
Set with accommodation
- Please apply in advance for your set plan and accommodation through our travel website "DraPla Travel."
- Applications will be accepted from 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.
- Please use the ETC card you registered at the time of application and the model of vehicle as follows.

①Outbound: Get on at an IC within the departure and arrival area and get off at an IC within the destination area.

Ski resort lift ticket set

③Return: Get on at an IC in the destination area and get off at an IC in the departure/arrival area. - Please present the "Set Plan Coupon" screen from the application completion email at the ski resort to purchase a lift ticket for the set plan.
Notes
Round-trip plan and set plan
- It is not possible to use the service in the order of return ⇒ outbound.
- This product will be applied once the requirements for the outbound journey are met.
- If you get on or off at an IC outside the departure or destination area on either the outbound or return journey, tolls may be charged for all or part of the journey in addition to the price of this product.
- The rate at which additional mileage points are awarded will be determined based on the time it takes to pass through the return entrance IC. If you get on or off at an IC outside the destination area or departure/arrival area, additional mileage points will not be awarded, regardless of the time spent.
- This product will end when the requirements for the return journey are met. Any journeys thereafter will not be covered by this product, even if they are within the usage period.
Set plan
- This product will not apply if the accommodation facility is canceled or if the ski resort lift ticket cannot be confirmed as being used.

"Dorawari " means the discount of ETC fee reserved in advance by NEXCO EAST Co., Ltd., driving information such as otaku information in the service area · parking area, point service of the official card "E-NEXCO pass", etc. It is a generic term for services to have "drive travel" enjoyed by "cheap" in various scenes.
