NEXCO EAST Hokkaido Regional Head Office (Atsubetsu-ku, Sapporo) and the Hokkaido Regional Rent-a-Car Association Federation (Shiroishi-ku, Sapporo) will begin selling the "Dora-wari Dotoku Free Pass x Hokkaido Rent-a-Car Set Plan" (hereinafter, this plan) from Friday, May 8, 2026.
This plan is available to customers who rent a car from a rental car company affiliated with the Hokkaido Regional Rent-a-Car Association Federation, and is limited to ETC-equipped vehicles, allowing unlimited entry and exit on all Expressway within Hokkaido for a fixed price.
　The regular "Michi-Toku Free Pass (Period A) ^*" costs 10,700 yen for 4 days (standard car), but this plan offers it for just 7,700 yen for 4 days (standard car), making it an even better deal. Take advantage of this opportunity to rent a car and use Expressway and fully enjoy your trip to Hokkaido.

1. Plan Overview

• This plan is for customers using ETC (Electronic Toll Collection).
• This excludes periods of heavy traffic, such as Obon, Silver Week, New Year's holidays, and three-day weekends.

2. How to use

1. Please reserve a rental car equipped with an ETC device, using one of the participating rental locations (details: Attachment-2 [PDF: 157KB]) as your departure point.
2. Please inform the rental office staff that you wish to use this plan on the day you rent the car.
3. Please apply for this plan before using Expressway by scanning the special QR code provided at the store. Please be sure to apply using your own ETC card. Rental ETC cards from rental car stores cannot be used.
4. Please insert the ETC card (the number you entered when applying) into the on-board unit and use Expressway.

1. ETC Mileage Service Point Plus Campaign
   We are currently running a campaign where customers who apply for and use our discounted toll package for weekday use only will receive an additional 15% of the discounted toll package price in ETC mileage points.

2. E-NEXCO point present
   Customers using E-NEXCO pass will receive 50 E-NEXCO points in addition to regular points.
3. Special benefits
   With the cooperation of various businesses, we have prepared special discounts and other benefits at facilities along the Scenic Byway route, as well as at hot spring facilities, commercial facilities, tourist facilities, restaurants, rental car companies, sightseeing boats, and ferry services to remote islands throughout Hokkaido.

4. Precautions for Use

1. This plan does not include the cost of renting a car.
2. This plan cannot be used with rental cars that are not equipped with an ETC (Electronic Toll Collection) device.
3. You cannot apply for this plan using a rental ETC card provided by the rental car company. Please be sure to apply using your own ETC card.
4. Depending on the section you are using, the day of the week, and the time of day, it may be cheaper to use the ETC time-of-day discount.
5. You cannot change the vehicle during the rental period.
6. If you need to change or cancel your subscription to this plan, please be sure to do so through your Dora-wari My Page.

"Scenic Byway" is a combination of the adjective Scenic of landscape and scene, and Byway that means side road and twist road.

This initiative brings together local communities and governments through roads to "create beautiful landscapes," "build vibrant communities," and "create attractive tourist spaces." Each route is carrying out unique activities that are unique to the area, such as planting flowers and cleaning the roads, developing recommended scenic spots in the area, and disseminating information about them. Currently, there are 15 designated routes and two candidate routes, and about 500 groups are active. NEXCO EAST Hokkaido Regional Head Office is also participating in this initiative.
