For a list of major traffic jams (peak traffic jam length of 10km or more) on Expressway in the Kanto Koshin region and Shizuoka prefecture, see Attachment-1 [PDF: 60KB] Please refer to.

2 Major rest facilities where congestion is expected

During the GW period, congestion is expected in rest areas such as service areas due to the increase in traffic. (Attachment-2, 3 [PDF: 112KB]) Avoid congestion and take an early break.

3 How to obtain road traffic information

For information on how to obtain real-time road traffic information and traffic congestion forecast information, please see Attachment-4 [PDF: 79KB].

4 Customer service initiatives (congestion measures)

Since it is expected to be as crowded as GW last year, we will work on strengthening customer services such as measures to alert rear-end collision at the end of traffic congestion, staffing parking lots in service areas, and installing temporary toilets. (Attachment-5-6 [PDF:65KB])

5 Plan to secure parking for large vehicles

The rest facilities that are planned to secure large-sized car parking spaces during GW are summarized in Attachments 7-9 [PDF: 119KB], so please use them for an efficient drive plan.

6 Requests to Customers

During this time, Expressway and service areas are very crowded.
To avoid traffic jams and to travel safely, we ask our customers to check this [PDF: 16KB].
