Mito Management Office
At NEXCO EAST Mito Management Office (Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture), Tomobe Junction (hereinafter "JCT") flows into the E50 Kita-Kanto Expressway (hereinafter "Kita Kanto Expressway") from the E6 Joban Expressway (hereinafter "Joban Expressway") Out-bound line. We will close the lamps at night to repair the pavement.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but we kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation so that you may have some time when you go out.
1 Closed place and date
(1) Closed point: Each ramp of Tomobe JCT flowing from Joban Expressway Out-bound line to Kita Kanto Expressway

Implementation date: November 19th (Monday) to 21st (Wednesday), 2018 21:00 pm to 6:00 am the next morning
Preliminary day: November 26th (Monday) to 29th (Thursday), 2018, 21:00 pm to 6:00 am the next morning

3 Regarding connection adjustment due to closure

How to use transit adjustment

- Customers using ETC are requested to run the outflow designated IC wirelessly and the re-inflow designated IC wirelessly. (No transit certificate will be issued for ETC vehicles)
- ETC time zone discount will be applied, considering the transited journey as one.
Toll charges are adjusted at the time of billing, so they may differ from those displayed at the toll gate.

- Customers who pay by cash, etc. should receive the "passage certificate" at the outflow designated IC, and then get the "passport" at the re-inflow designated IC, and then make the "transfer" at the toll booth that pays the fare first. Please give us your "certificate" and "passport".
4 Construction overview
Joban Expressway Out-bound We will carry out pavement repair work because the road surface has been damaged at the ramp of Tomobe JCT flowing into the northern Kanto road from the line. There is only one lane to carry out this work, and it is necessary to close the lamps before carrying out the work as it is not possible to secure a sufficient lane for vehicles.
Therefore, in order not to inconvenience our customers as much as possible, we will close the lamps on weekdays during the night when traffic is light, and carry out the work intensively and efficiently. Since this work is necessary to use the Expressway safely and comfortably, we ask for your understanding and cooperation.
5 How to obtain traffic information
(1) Guidance by distribution / posting
- Notice signs, posters and leaflets will be posted at toll booths and rest facilities nearby.
- A banner will be posted on the overpass on the Expressway.
