The Kanto Regional Liaison Council (hereinafter referred to as the "liaison council") aimed at optimizing the passage of large vehicles is led by the road managers that make up the area, and the police in each of the three prefectures and the Kanto Transport Bureau run large vehicles. We are pleased to inform you that we have deepened the cooperation of the three parties related to the above and carried out a large-scale simultaneous joint crackdown in the Tokyo metropolitan area.
In order to promote the proper and safe use of roads, the Liaison Council is strengthening its efforts against illegal overweight vehicles, which are the main cause of deterioration of road structures, and simultaneous joint control at all 18 locations.
