NEXCO EAST Niigata branch (Niigata city Chuo Ward), summer traffic congestion period from Nagaoka fireworks to Bon Festival[15 days from August 2 (Wed),2017 - August 16 (Wed)] This section summarizes the places where traffic congestion is predicted due to traffic concentration in Niigata Prefecture and the countermeasures.
1. Request for distributed use
- On Expressway Niigata Prefecture, during the period, Peak 1km or more Is predicting congestion.

2. Efforts to prevent congestion
Regarding congestion countermeasures, we will implement the following measures based on this traffic congestion forecast and past congestion situation. Also, in the past traffic congestion period, small cars were parked in large cars, which caused inconvenience to large cars, and we plan to secure parking for large cars.
