4 Construction details
About 33 years have passed since the opening of the Kozagawa Bridge, which is located between the Towada IC and the Kosaka IC on the Tohoku Expressway and due to the increase in size of the vehicle, repeated cracking due to repeated wheel loads, salt on the anti-freezing agent sprayed during the winter season, etc. This causes deterioration of the concrete floor slab and rust on the reinforcing bars, so it is necessary to implement drastic measures against deterioration. By replacing the deteriorated existing concrete floor slab with a new floor slab, it will be reborn as a Expressway that is safe and comfortable to use.
In addition, Kamedayama TN located in the same section has cracks on the concrete surface (lining surface) inside the tunnel, floating / peeling, water leakage, etc., so it is necessary to carry out a fall countermeasure and back cavity injection. .
This work aims to streamline the work and reduce costs by simultaneously carrying out the renewal work for the Kosakagawa Bridge and Kamedayama TN between Towada IC and Kosaka IC under a single two-way traffic regulation. In addition, we will also carry out floor slab waterproofing work for bridges, pavement repairs, and detailed road inspections.
