NEXCO EAST The Akita Management Office (Akita City, Akita Prefecture, Japan) will close at night due to seismic reinforcement work at the Kawabe Junction ("JCT") ramp, which flows from E7 Nihonkai-Tohoku Expressway ("Nitto Road") to the Out-bound line on E7 Akita Expressway ("Akita Road").
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and ask for your understanding and cooperation in allowing extra time for your trip.

3. 3. About transfer adjustment due to closure

For customers who temporarily flow out of Expressway due to nighttime closures, detour around the closed area, re-enter and transfer in the forward direction, we will implement "transit adjustment" to adjust the toll according to the section used. increase. (Refer to Attachment-2 [PDF: 241KB])

How to use transit adjustment

ETC customers

  • Customers using ETC are requested to run the outflow designated IC wirelessly and the re-inflow designated IC wirelessly. (No transit certificate will be issued for ETC vehicles)
  • ETC time zone discount will be applied, considering the transited journey as one.
    Toll charges are adjusted at the time of billing, so they may differ from those displayed at the toll gate.
  • Insert the same ETC card for all journeys and pass through the ETC lane at the tollgate.

Customers such as cash

  • Customers who pay by cash, etc. should receive the "passage certificate" at the outflow designated IC, and then get the "passport" at the re-inflow designated IC, and then make the "transfer" at the toll booth that pays the fare first. Please give us your "certificate" and "passport".

Four. Construction overview

We will carry out seismic reinforcement work on the ramp of the Kawabe JCT heading from Nitto Expressway to Noshiro on Akita Road. The section where this work is carried out is one lane, and since it is not possible to carry out construction with normal lane regulations, it is necessary to close the ramp and work.
Therefore, in order to cause as little inconvenience to customers as possible, we will close the lamps on weeknights when there is little traffic and carry out construction intensively and efficiently. This construction is necessary for safe and comfortable use of the Expressway, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.
