NEXCO EAST Akita Management Office (Akita City, Akita Prefecture) is located on E46 Akita Expressway (hereinafter referred to as "Akita Road") Yuda Interchange (hereinafter referred to as "IC") From Omagari IC and E13 Yuzawa-Yokote Road Upper and lower lines From Yuzawa IC to Yokote IC, in order to carry out pavement repair work, etc., night road closures and one-sided alternating traffic restrictions (waiting time of about 15 minutes) will be implemented.

  • Service areas and parking areas (hereinafter referred to as "SA" and "PA") within the road closure section will be closed as follows.
    Akita Expressway Up and Down Lines Yamauchi PA, Omori PA, Seishenkoku SA, Taiheizan PA Weekdays from 8pm to 6am the next morning
  • In stormy weather, it will be postponed to the spare day.
  • The decision to proceed with construction will be announced on X (formerly Twitter), etc.

3. Regarding transit adjustments due to suspension of traffic

　通行止めにより高速道路を一旦流出し、通行止め区間を迂回して、再流入して順方向に乗り継がれるお客さまには、ご利用区間に応じて通行料金を調整する「乗継調整」を実施します。

How to use transit adjustment

ETC customers

  • Customers using ETC are requested to run the outflow designated IC wirelessly and the re-inflow designated IC wirelessly. (No transit certificate will be issued for ETC vehicles)
  • ETC time zone discount will be applied, considering the transited journey as one.
    Toll charges are adjusted at the time of billing, so they may differ from those displayed at the toll gate.
  • Insert the same ETC card for all journeys and pass through the ETC lane at the tollgate.

Customers such as cash

  • Customers who pay by cash, etc. should receive the "passage certificate" at the outflow designated IC, and then get the "passport" at the re-inflow designated IC, and then make the "transfer" at the toll booth that pays the fare first. Please give us your "certificate" and "passport".

Common to ETC and cash customers

  • If the suspension of traffic is released after the outflow designated IC is released, the fare will be adjusted even if it is re-introduced from the IC (including the outflow designated IC) in the closed road section in the forward direction.

Four. Construction overview

Due to damage to the road surface at the Akita Expressway Upper and Lower Line Yuda IC ~ Omagari IC and Yuzawa-Yokote Road Upper and Lower Line Yuzawa IC ~ Yokote IC, pavement repair work will be carried out. In order to minimize inconvenience to customers, we will restrict one-sided alternating traffic during the day and close the road at night on weekdays when there is little traffic, and carry out construction work intensively and efficiently. This construction is necessary for safe and comfortable use of the Expressway, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.

Five. How to obtain traffic information

(1) Guidance by distribution / posting

  • Notice signs, posters and leaflets will be posted at toll booths and rest facilities nearby.
  • A banner will be posted on the overpass on the Expressway.

    The highway radio section is indicated by signs on the Expressway.

    You can get road traffic information with VICS-compatible car navigation and other on-board devices.
