NEXCO EAST The Tsuruoka Management Office (Tsuruoka City, Yamagata Prefecture) will close the road at night at E7 Nihonkai-Tohoku Expressway (hereafter "Nitto Expressway") from Tsuruoka West Interchange (hereafter "IC") to Sakata IC, and from E48 Yamagata Expressway (hereafter "Yamagata Expressway") from Shonai Asahi IC to Tsuruoka Junction (hereafter "JCT") for paving repairs.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to our customers, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation so that you can allow extra time when you go out.

Yamagata Expressway, both directions, Tsuruoka IC to Tsuruoka JCT

In stormy weather, it will be postponed to the spare day.

2. Detour

For information on alternative routes, please refer to Attachment 1 [PDF: 700KB].
The detour will increase your travel time, so please allow extra time for your journey.

3. Construction overview

Due to road surface damage at Tsuruoka Nishi IC ~ Sakata IC on the Nitto Expressway (both directions) and Shonai Asahi IC ~ Tsuruoka JCT on the Nitto Expressway (both directions) and up and down on the Yamagata Expressway, we will carry out paving repair work. Additionally, we will carry out felling work in line with the growth of black pine trees planted on the runway. To minimize inconvenience to our customers, we will close the road on weekday nights when traffic is low, and carry out the work intensively and efficiently. This work is necessary for your safe and comfortable use of the Expressway, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.
